The role has primary brand and marketing accountability at a strategic level, is part of the SLT and contributes to overall business strategy, as well as operational responsibility for all external communication development and execution, all internal comms delivery, all aspects of brand development and execution, and demand generation, across all media and all platforms, at corporate and retail level
The right candidate will be a proven strategic marketer with 8+ years in a senior marketing management role, will be extremely digitally savvy, with a good understanding of marketing automation, and accountability, data, and data analysis but will also be passionate about creative communication and understand the mix of art and science in brand building.
The right candidate will be collaborative and respectful and frankly a “nice person” – someone who gets the values and ethics of a business with a long-term people focussed strategy.
Experience in financial services, particularly retail banking preferred but not essential, we are open to the person who will make the real difference.
This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington and remuneration will be very competitive for the right candidate.
