DRIVE SALES SUCCESS: LEAD OUR MULTI-PLATFORM MEDIA SALES TEAM AS A GROUP SALES MANAGER

This growing Auckland-based media company is looking to consolidate recent sales growth and build on the momentum created. A vacancy exists for an experienced and dynamic sales leader with a passion for driving sales excellence. If you are at a GSM level or ready to step up from a Senior Account Manager role for a new challenge, this could be the move for you.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of media sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets working with key media agencies across New Zealand.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of media agency and key client management, identifying opportunities for new business and partnership development.
  • Provide mentorship and training to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Remain informed about industry trends and technology development within the communications environment to enable innovation in driving business success.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years working in a media sales or related sales environment. Media agency experience also considered for the role, however a natural sales orientation will be required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve its full potential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving sales excellence.
  • A team player who absorbs him/herself across all aspects of the business encouraging social interaction internally and externally.
